This electronic camera will only operate with charged batteries in it. It is the way it was made .

I couldn't fit it in the title but  You also get a Minolta mount Seomar 2X teleconverter.This fits both lenses ,(and other minolta lenses) and is in exc condition both cosmetically and optically.

This is a Minolta XG 1 from the late 70's.It is an apeture priority quality SLR with full manual capability, but the meter does not operate in the manual mode.Again this is as the camera was made, all the Minolta XG series operated this way.The camera appears to operate fully, and the shutter and meter work well.The leds in the viewfinder light as they should , and self timer and battery check work.

The camera operates on 2 readily available AG13 batteries, and they are supplied with this camera. This camera has a manual on off switch.It must be switched off after use or you will be running to the Reject shop all the time for batteries.

Cosmetically it is excellent , and the Minolta MD 50mm f 1.7 lens is clear of growth .It has a little internal dust.

You also get a TAMRON BBAR Multi C f 3.5 38-100mm MACRO Zoom lens. The Tamron system were lenses that would fit any SLR camera provided you had the ADAPTALL mount to fit the type of camera you have.This one comes with a Minolta mount.Whic is just as well as its a Minolta Camera.But the mount can be used to fit other Tamron Adaptall lenses to this camera.

A long zoom range lens , it is in very good condition.Zooms firmly and smoothly, diaphragm is snappy .Has a couple of tiny growth spots in the rear element group.Comes with caps and case.

Sold as the emminently collectable camera outfit that it is.

I am selling lots of things ,from my collections of many years. But mainly cameras,( I will attempt to describe them as best I can , and I check them as thoroughly as possible,and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.(Check my positive feedbacks )But they are sold primarily as collectibles,and while some of them may be quite good users, they are NOT sold as useable cameras.I have not run a film through them , and have not taken them apart on a test bench to search for anything that may require repair.They are sold as is.Please understand this, particularly if you are bidding on a 50 odd year old camera, expecting something to operate as if it were new.
