Hand Braided Rag Rug

It has small fabric separations throughout, loose threads and shows wear--all adding to the shabby charm of this ol' piece!

About 53"x35"

As for the history of the rug...I purchased it at an estate sale and the owner told me she'd had it herself for over 50 years and had received it from her Grandmother. I do not have an exact date on it.

I thought this would be a real show stopping piece for my primitive kitchen, but I own dogs and for fear that they would ruin it, I could never bring myself to display it on my floor. Now it's just taking up space...I don't want to let it go but I'd love for someone to REALLY enjoy this!!!
