Direct from England, a charming bookshelf that was part of an English estate sale with many pristine-condition items that I will be listing this weekend!

From first glance, this is obviously a quality piece, well built by craftsmen of a bygone era and certain to be a treasure for generations to come.  Clearly it came from an estate where it was lovingly handled for decades…just look at the wonderful condition…..no broken shelves, no unsightly stains on the finish…just an elegant bookshelf, waxed and ready to be placed in your home!

Measurements:

31 ½”H x 19 ¼” x 10 ¼”;

Upper shelf, 18” x 3 ½”;

Middle shelf, 18” x 6 ½”;

Book/Magazine Rack, 2 sections, each 10 ½”H x 18” x 2 ½”.

Condition:

The bookshelf is in VERY good condition for its age, with LESS THAN normal signs of age and use, dings, scratches and other imperfections.  There is only one tiny little piece of beaded trim missing.  I always provide multiple photos that should be considered as part of the description and I encourage you to email me with any questions you might have prior to bidding.   Please keep in mind antique furniture should be purchased for its uniqueness, higher quality material and craftsmanship and antique patina, charm and character….NOT for like-new condition!!!
