Vintage Bird-of-Paradise Pin/Brooch/Dress Clip

  • Yellow gold and enamel with silver "crown"
  • White, blue, purple, and pale red enamel
  • Width is 2 inches from east-to-west
  • Height is 3 inches from north-to-south
  • 25.39 grams

This pre-owned Bird-of-Paradise pin/brooch/dress clip is ready for your collection. This unusual pin is unstamped and has no hallmarks. The enamel is intact and shows minimal wear. The colors are pale.

It appears to be from the latter half of the 20th century. The back has three pin prongs and no safety clips, leading me to believe this is actually a dress clip.

This lovely pin could accent a scarf or lapel and would make a pretty gift for the pin collector.
