Composition: SilverMaker: Berndorf
You are bidding on a fabulous child's fork and spoon set by BERNDORF.  The spoon is Little Red Riding Hood, talking to the "Big Bad Wolf" and the fork is  Sleeping Beauty which has the Queen and Sleeping Beauty , the Queen is showing Sleeping Beauty part of a spinning wheel, also has a forest scene with some cozy houses. The workmanship and detail is absolutely stunning on both pieces.  The pictures does not do them justice as there is so much detail.  This is and estate find and I don't know the age of this set but I am certain is quite old.  I don't know if this is silverplate or sterling silver.  On the back of each piece written in script is Berndorf  with the Berndorf logo and the number 90 with a circle around it.  MINT unused condition in original box.  Box has a few tears as you can see in the picure, but still in nice solid shape.  Outside on the front of the box says Berndorf Marchen-Babybesteck.   The front of the box shows 4 fairytails, see pictures.  The box opens by lifting the lid, it is in the shape and look of a book.   On the side of the box it says Vereinigte Matallwerke Ranshofen Berndorf Aktiengesellschaft Esslingen a. N.   Each piece measures 5" long.  This is truly an amazing unique set.
