"These Maple sticks are awsome!! The first thing you'll notice is that they're much lighter than the traditional Hickory sticks, allowing more speed around the kit. The Maple is a softer wood giving great warmth to crash and ride cymbols. This does not make them weaker, I put 12 pair through a rigorous test, trying my best to break them with no success. They took every ounce of punnishment I delt out. I actually mutalated two drum heads in the process. This was the best stick purchase I've ever made."
