Old & Beautifully executed signed painting. Jewish man with beautiful blue eyes.
I cannot make out who the artist is but by the quality of work, he must be known.
You can see by looking at the back of the canvas, this piece is old!
Decorative wood frame with gold trim.
With frame measures 18-3/4" X 22-3/4" or 47.625 cm X  57.785 cm.
Without frame measures approximately 16" X 20-1/4" or 40.64 cm X 51.435 cm.
There is a 2 inch or 5.08 cm long indentation that you can see from the back (see pictures).
On the front, this indentation is near the shoulder on the right side of painting (see pictures).
To tell you the truth, I did not know it was there until I took a picture of the back.
I do not like selling artwork without knowing who the artist is especially when it is signed!
On the back there are two pieces of very old masking tape.
It looks like that at one time, someone had maybe written the artist's name on one of these pieces of tape.
The writing & tape are so old, age has made it impossible for me to make the writing out.
It could be worth a million and I would not know!
So I am taking my chances and I literally do not have space available to hang this or I would!
