It doesn't have to be frustrating and be like going back to the cave man days.

USE SOME TECHNOLOGY MAN!

Weather it be wood or charcoal!

I gotta smoker box and have been through it all.  You know hard to light wood can be, weather it's rained rescently, not seasoned 100% or just plain stubbern.  You try the lighter fluid, charcoal, and the fan and at 30 minutes it's not lighting or producing the 180-225 degrees needed.  You just want to give it up.  Well that's like bringing the day old merinading ribs from the inside refridgerator to the pit and dropping them on the ground only to have your dogs eat it. =o (DOUBLE DOH!!!)

I just this past weekend was invited to my friends house for a get together in the neighborhood.  This guy couldn't get the charcoals going in his pit.  He must have used half the lighter fluid trying to get them lit.  Here it is 15 people invited over and about 25 minutes him trying to get them going.  Nope couldn't do it.  I don't know what the deal was, but audviously he didn't use the one match charcoals.  Well I tossed the keys to my son and he got in the Kawasaki Mule, drove on to the house and brought back the propane bottle and it was flame ON!!    5 minutes later I turned off the propane bottle.  We were eat'n sausage and shish kuh bobs or how ever you wanna spell it in no time.

So look you take this Bad boy out, hook it up to the 5 gallon propane tank, turn the propane on and hit the trigger starter.  It lights right up, put that sucker right on that wood in the smoker box.  5 minutes later your wood is uh Flamm'n and you smile.  Next time you want to use the smoker box you just get this out and you smile knowing in 5 minutes your fire is a flamm'n.

Cook on man!  Light'n a fire weather it's coals or wood doesn't have to be frustrating.
