Butterfly Feeder

• Attract Beautiful Butterflies to Your Garden!

The Butterfly Feeder is easy to use. First make up some butterfly nectar. Fill the feeder reservoir. Make sure the red wicks are positioned in the flower openings so the nectar can be drawn to the feeder surface. Hang the feeder outdoors with string or fishing line. You can also place it on a flat surface outdoors. Now wait and watch colorful butterflies arrive! You may even see a hummingbird visit! Once a week, wash the feeder with warm water and replave the nectar.

Nectar Recipe

• Here's a quick and easy recipe for making liquid butterfly nectar to use in your Butterfly Feeder.

Simply Mix three level teaspoons of sugar into 8 ounces of water. Add one drop of red food coloring. Stir well, making sure all of the sugar is dissolved.

Open the Butterfly Feeder reservoir cap and carefully pour the nectar mix into the feeder. Do not overfill. You will have some nectar left over. Keep the extra nectar covered in the refrigerator for future use. It should keep for about two weeks.
