FAB ARTS & CRAFTS Candle Holder Bronze & Sterling c1920

A more than wonderful original Arts and Crafts Candle holder made of bronze and sterling . It is pictured on the cover of Arts and Crafts Metalwork and Silver but there is no reference in the book to the maker. It most resembles Heintz Art Metal; it is possible that only one of the pair was signed. The auction is for one, which is marked sterling on the silver. 3 7/8" on each side of the triangle; 3 3/4" high. It is in its original condition with a dark brown patina on both metals. In excellent condition: the only thing that needs pointing out is that the top of the handle has come loose from the body and needs a spot of solder to reattach it. This is a wonderful piece of Arts and Crafts metal worthy of any collection.
