RARE Weller Cameo Jewel Large Fish Vase Rudolph Lorber

Up for auction is a beautiful rare piece of marked Weller pottery, artist designed by Rudolph Lorber. Vase is a matte burgundy color on the bottom fading to tan on top, design has 2 large incised fish decoration on the front, and 1 fish behind seaweed on the back. The bubbles coming from the fishes mouths are a high glazed blue color. Has the impressed WELLER block mark on the bottom. To the right of the fish on the front is a large L with an attached R for Rudolph Lorber. Overall condition is very good to excellent, no chips or repairs, and only light crazing at the top rim of the vase. Piece stands 10 1/4 inches tall with a 3 1/2 inch top opening.
