About my handcrafted muffs:
I made my first muff for my 18th month old after becoming frustrated with trying to keep her hands in a pair of mittens.
Especially easy to use for little hands, a muff is the perfect no-hassle solution for keeping hands warm while running errands, during car trips, and at play- giving your little one control of her own hands, and freeing you up from trying to keep those mittens on her. Your little one’s muff is sure to become her favorite winter accessory!

Sizing Recommendations:
TODDLER size is recommended for girls up to age 4.  SCHOOL GIRL size is recommended for girls up to age 8.  The larger School Girl size is very versatile and can be utilized for a younger child.  It's overstuffed quality will keep even the tiniest hands warm.  Please check all of my listings to see my various sizes and styles available.

Handcrafted by me, these faux fur muffs are created in the spirit of the vintage style hand muffs, in colors and textures that are sure to thrill your little girl! Each muff is handmade by me. Unlike many hand-warmers, my muffs are filled with extra stuffing, made to be especially warm for little hands.

Each muff is constructed of four layers- an outer faux fur, a middle lining of batting, an insulating layer of polyester stuffing, and a soft satin lining. The interior layers help to create a extra-thick muff for maximum warmth. A coordinating grosgrain or satin ribbon is not only functional and comfortable around the neck, but also adds an additional touch of style!

Measurements:
TODDLER size Muff measures approximately 7.5" long with an approximate 3.5" diameter. 

SCHOOL GIRL size muff measures approximately 8.25” long with an approximate 4.5" diameter.

Neck ribbons are approximately 29.5” long. Your child can start wearing her muff almost as soon as she is ready to be responsible to keep her own hands warm –often before the age of two. Her muff can then be worn year after year for several years. The muff’s interior layer of stuffing will block out the cold air, even for the littlest hands.
