The story behind these great fabrics:

  In 1950, Lilly Pulitzer married Peter Pulitzer, the grandson of publisher Joseph Pulitzer, the founder of the Pulitzer Prize.  Peter owned several Florida citrus groves, and with produce from the groves Lilly opened a juice stand in Palm Beach. She had a custom shift dress made for her work.  Customers fell in love with her dress, and she soon started to sell dresses at her juice stand.  Quickly she started to make more money selling dresses. Jackie Kennedy, a childhood friend, was one of the first people to wear Lilly patterns featured in Life magazine.  Lilly's bright, colorful, well-made patterns are very popular and will continue to be highly-prized items.  These patterns are sure to brighten up your day at work and/or home.  Make your work space unique with one of LillyPads colorful mouse pads today.
