Allen Iverson, nicknamed A.I.  and The Answer, not only led Bethel high school to the state Championship in basketball as a point guard but led his Football Team to the state Championship as the starting quarterback.  As an 11-Year NBA veteran at the age of 32, Iverson is considered one of the most consistent scorers in the history of the game (his Career Average of 27.8 points per game is third all-time behind only Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain).  

Iverson's ability to effectively employ a versatile combination of scoring methods — driving to the basket, drawing fouls, shooting from outside, and creating his own shot off of the dribble — all at only six feet tall, has made him one of the most distinctive and dominant Players in NBA history.   Iverson is generally regarded as one of the Best guards to ever play the game, as evidenced by his being named the starting point guard for the Eastern Conference in the NBA All-Star Game for the past seven consecutive seasons.
