If you like old movie posters, but are not familiar with 40 x 60s or Two Sheets, as they are also called, you should be. These posters measure 40 x 60 inches. One Sheets, by comparison, measure only 27 x 41 inches. So these are BIG posters. The images are big and bold, making these posters perfect for display in restaurants, clubs, offices, and homes with big wall spaces. These posters are also printed on a heavy cardstock weight paper. This makes them easier to display. It also means these posters were never folded, so there are not fold lines, as with One Sheets. 40 x 60s are much more rare than One Sheets and are generally considered to be worth at least 1.5 to 2 times more than One Sheets for the same movie.

This poster has some of the typical problems posters often have that were actually used and have been in long storage. Minor margin tears have been taped on the back with archival quality tape. (This does not show from the front.) There are minor creases and “crunches” in the margins. Many have yellowing at the edges. Some have minor stains and soil. As our photograph shows, none of these minor condition issues detract from the visual appeal of the poster. In fact, they attest to the authenticity and the age of the poster.
