Dress description: Inspired by late 14th-century fashion, this long, full gown is made from a deep purple velvet and is accented with back lacing, gold-colored trim, and pale pink satin lining on the arm tippets. The back of the gown laces up (I will include a matching gold cord), and the sleeves feature satin-lined tippets hanging down from the upper arm and a more fitted lower arm. This gives the look of wearing both an over- and under-dress. The dress is fitted down to the waist and then flares out from the hips in a voluminous skirt that drapes beautifully. The velvet of the dress is a regular, smooth velvet (it is NOT crushed or panne velvet). In my eBay store, I also carry this gown in other color combinations as well as a full range of sizes, including S, M, L, XL/1X, 2X, and 3X/4X.
This listing is for a size 3X / 4X (other sizes available in my eBay store). Please see the different size measurements below to choose your appropriate size. Because of the nature of the dress, it would work for a range of different sizes (US sizes 24 through 30/32).
I have shown photos of this dress with a hoop skirt beneath (top right photo and top center) to demonstrate its fullness, as well as without the underskirt (all other photos), so you can see the lovely way the fabric drapes and flows.

*This gown is somewhat flexible in terms of sizing: it is very acceptable to wear a medieval-style belt with it (hanging down from the hips in a V shape). Also, there is a slight give to the velvet it is made from, so it can stretch between sizes if need be. The following measurements are the approximate unstretched measurements of the garment. Your own measurements for chest, waist, and hips may be smaller or a little larger, and the gown will still fit you depending on how you want it to look (tightly fitted or not):

There is a bit of give in the velvet, and the dresses tend to run slightly larger than an off-the-rack dress of the same size. Condition: This gown is brand new and has never been worn before. Customer service is a priority of mine, so if you are ever not satisfied with your costume's condition, I will do everything I can to rectify the situation.

Return policy: If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly take the item back within 30 days of the delivery date and provide you with a refund (or an exchange, if you prefer).
