Fast and convenient, it can be used for making snowcones, slushes, and other frozen desserts and drinks. To use, simply fill a standard ice-cube tray with water and freeze completely. Dump the ice into the bowl and press the oversized power button to start the motor. The unit begins turning the ice into fine, fluffy snow. For safety, the ice shaver features an enclosed ice chamber, which keeps hands away from the shaving blade. Place a separate dish on the base to collect the shaved ice. Then the extra-fun part--creating custom concoctions. Add a Back to Basics premium syrup (or fruit juice, a favorite soft drink, or other flavoring) to the shaved ice and enjoy. Because of its snowy fine consistency, the shaved ice absorbs flavors instead of them running to the bottom. The electric ice shaver measures approximately 8-1/5 by 6-1/5 by 14 inches.
