Vintage 1950s TABLE LAMP Stilnovo Italy Atomic Art Deco

You are bidding on an original 1950s table/desk lamp. The lampshade is made of crinckled coral/light orange plastic. There is a brass plate placed on top of the lampshade and finished with a small brass cylinder. There is a secondary shade made of perforated cream crinckled plastic. The base is made of three light wood feet placed at a slight angle and fitted with small felt pads. There is one bulb casing. The original bakelite switch is placed on the cord.

The lamp is in excellent condition. There is some fading on the main shade but nothing that would distract from the overall look of the piece. The lamp is in full working order. It takes one small Edison screw (screwfit) bulb and is still fitted with its original bakelite plug (a UK adaptor is provided). As with all vintage electrical equipment, it is advisable to have it checked by a qualified electrician.

This gorgeous lamp is in brilliant condition. An excellent 50s design which would be perfect as a bedside table lamp or a subsidiary piece of lighting. A fantastic addition to a retro interior.
