RENAISSANCE SCA LADY'S SULTRY MIDSUMMER COTTON CHEMISE!

You are bidding on a beautiful new handmade chemise. The fabric is a soft, comfortable, bleached cotton muslin (white) and is completely washable. The sleeves are full and come to about the elbow and are extremely versatile! They have a pretty drawstring ribbon tied off with beads.

The drawstring allows you to wear the sleeves in several different styles. They can be worn gathered above the elbow to create a delicate pouf, or gathered loosely below the elbow for a graceful look (and ventilation at those hot summer Faires) or opened up completely for an elegant bell sleeve. The beautiful beads and ribbon will add a touch of femininity to your all your attire…from nobility to peasantry.

The neckline is drawn with a strong grosgrain ribbon, which will allow you to wear it on or off the shoulder easily, and the neckline and sleeves are trimmed with a lovely ruffle.

The chemise measures 25” from neckline to hem; sleeves are about 12” from underarm to hem. The chemise is roomy and should fit just about anyone. I laid the chemise flat, and it measures 30” across, so it would accommodate up to a 60” waist/bust!

All seams are serged and finished for strength and durability, and all ribbon ends have been finished with Fray-Check to prevent fraying.
