ANTIQUE BBB METAL ROMAN COINS BUTTON THE TRIUMVIRATE

  Please be aware that most of the vintage and antique items we sell have been USED,  are NOT PERFECT, and will more than likely show some WEAR.  Although I clean items before selling them,  pieces may still need additional cleaning depending on how particular you are.  Any repairs or damage will be noted, tiny flaws and normal wear will not.  Please look at the photos carefully and ask questions if you have any concerns because we truly want you to be happy with your purchase!

This button measures 1 3/16" across, and is pictured in the Big Button Book on pg. 629-3.  Here's how it's described in the BBB:  "Three Roman coins, called The Triumvirate.  This is really a design incorporating coins, rather than a coin-like button, but it can be inclded in this grouping (coin-like).  Stamped brass, one piece button with engraving and facetted steels." This has some verdigris on the back which could easily be polished off, otherwise in excellent condition.
