VINTAGE SHINY BRITE GLASS ORNAMENTS

new to vintage? look at closeup of caps, shiny brite caps say shiny brite, or shiny brite made in usa, they also are ridged sides to cap, look at that. while caps do get switched, there are alot of ornaments with shiny brite in the title and they are not shiny brites, after being sold some bad ornaments i invested in books and learnt what was made when and by whom. that is when i decided to start selling i buy up ornaments sort them to makers and age periods i purchase from estates and from ebay myself. i have collected ornaments for 20 yrs. i only started selling last year i had a great christmas and we are ready to go with great boxed sets and loose ornaments, and other christmas collectables.

these are 3" to the cap not hanger. working with a soft green theme here in this group, the glitter stencils are great repeat on other sides, 2 or 4 times, one is becoming a little tranparent on the silvering but i like that better than milky clouding, because the paint color is still great, i also like the unsilvered so , one stripe has an area of flaky paint which but these again are from late 60's to 70's and some paint formula changes you find more of this than the others which are older. still great 3/4's around so put that side to tree. normal age dots or spots, we hand clean and polish the ornaments for better feel to the glass this also makes them shine a reflect more like when they were new.
