Description:

Offered is an EXTREMELY SCARCE, NEAR MINT CONDITION program from the Friday night November 4,1960 meeting between the LOS ANGELES CHARGERS and NEW YORK TITANS at the historic old POLO GROUNDS in NEW YORK.  Most fans are already aware that 1960 was the FIRST YEAR for the American Football League, and material from ANY team is a highly sought after item. The CHARGERS, soon to be winners of the WESTERN DIVISION, beat the TITANS by a score of 21-7 before an "announced" crowd of 19,402.

This program is in NEAR MINT CONDITION with the only drawback being the original owner inking in the final 21-7 score neatly on the front cover. There is also a minute pen mark on the back cover, other wise this program is impeccable for its 49 years. There are NO creases, folds, rips, tears, separations, loose pages, detachments, moisture damage or other flaws. NO signs of abuse or wear and it has been sealed in plastic (since upgraded) for over 25 years at least. The printing is sharp and crisp with the deep blue ink used by the TITANS to match their then BLUE & GOLD colors.

Obviously a GREAT, EXTREMELY SCARCE program that will make a nice addition to the collection of any NEW YORK TITAN, LOS ANGELES CHARGERS, AFL, or football fan.
