This is an auction for one Vintage LINEOL Soldier with Trumpet / Bugle #5/46/2!!!  This is a great marching band soldier for parades, he is standing still blowing his trumpet or bugle.  The German name for him in our book is Pistonbläser, stillgestanden, pictured in Lineol Band 1 by Preibsch.  For additional details, please see below.  Thanks.  ****Hi toy soldier collectors, sorry we have been away from listing for quite some time, lots of issues, but we are pleased to start listing again.***

The Lineol Trumpeter is, again,  a nice part of the 75mm Parade-und-Marschfiguren Series and is from a larger collection where the owner put vintage Lineol and Elastolin figurines with other newer pieces from Duscha and Reiner Krock.  He weighs 17.7 grams on our own little home jewelry scale to give you an idea of the weight of this piece.  He is marked LINEOL and GERMANY on the bottom of his square base, which has one small composition hole, as well as cracking on the underside of the bottom's base through this hole.  This does not go through to the top.  He is in rather good condition with no real paint loss, but there is some composition cracking, specifically again, at the base and at his knees.  He is wearing a green outfit with black boots and green helmet. There is bno real paint loss and rusting present on this figurine, so overall we would say it is in good condition and a neat addition for anyone's toy soldier collection.  Underneath a black light, we see quite a bit of the orange protectant placed on this figurine and the red symbols on his sleeves glow a bit darker.... Please do not bid if the composition cracking or paint conditions would pose a problem for you.  Maybe this would make just the addition to your collection?

We are not professionals dealing in toy soldiers.  We are selling these items as part of an estate and try our best to give you all of the details.  One of us has optic neuritis and can't really tell the difference underneath a black light, except for the orange protectant which shows up on all or most of the pieces from this collection.  Please e-mail if you need additional photos or questions answered.  We will try and get back to you as soon as we can.  There are many different toy soldiers out there and a lot of collectors, so please be kind as a little bit of kindness goes a very long way.
