VINTAGE "MEGAPHOS STEREO" BINOCULARS with CASE

This auction is for a pair of vintage binoculars with case.

The binoculars are about 4 1/4" high.

They are marked "MEGAPHOS PARIS" and "STEREO PRISM BINOCULAR" and "8X"  and have small calibration lines marked "74" and "54" on the top of the center hinge/post.

They work fine. 

They have some chips/wear in the paint where they were put down, and are missing their strap.

The (leather?) wrap on the binoculars is brittle, and it has a chip. The seams are also slightly lifted.

      The case measures about  6" wide, 2 1/2" across and 5" high.

      I believe this is the original case.  It shows a lot of wear, but the stitching, fastener and rivets are intact.

      There is no strap on the case.
