Item specifics
Publisher: Marvel ComicsGenre: Superhero

Up for auction is the "Silver Age" Fantastic Four #34, "A House Divided!".  Published in January, 1965 this key issue features a Stan Lee script, Jack Kirby pencils, inks by Chic Stone, Kirby & Stone cover, and Artie Simek lettering.  This issue is noted for the 1st appearance of Thomas Gideon (later becomes "Glorian").  Also included in this issue is a Fantastic Four/Dr. Doom "Pin-up along with a "Letter to the Editor" from writer, George R.R. Martin.

The scans provided are of the exact book for sale.  The book is complete and in nice condition except for the "subscription crease", a few small tape reinforcements on the inside cover. (Just as the comic book companies did not know that folding these books in half would dramatically affect their future value; my husband did not know that he shouldn't put tape on the inside of the cover to try to prevent the book from tearing or fraying.)  According to the Silver Age Comic Price Index (www.comicpriceindex.com), "The values of Silver Age comics have steadily risen since the beginning of the decade".  Therefore, this book should continue to increase in value.

FYI:  My husband is the sole owner of this book and collecting comic books is his hobby.  He is not a "professional comic book grader".  Therefore, carefully inspect the pictures before placing a bid and don't hesitate to contact us with any questions.  We will provide additional pictures upon request.  (My husband has been collecting his books for over 50 years and we are in the process of placing a significant number of his collection up for auction.  Please check back as we will be placing many more vintage books up for auction within the next few weeks.)

Payment Policy:  payment is to be made within 7 days of the auction's end.  I reserve the right to cancel bids from buyers for non-payment within 7 days of the auction's closing and relist the item.

Shipping Policy:  The book will arrive "bagged and backed".  I normally ship within 24 hours of receiving a cleared payment.  I will also combine shipping and handling charges for multiple purchases made within a 7 day period.  To avoid paying excessive postage at "Ebay Checkout", notify me when you have finished bidding so I can combine the shipping charges and send you a revised invoice.

Return Policy:  I offer a "7 Day Return Policy" (Buyer pays return shipping fees) on "Non-CGC" books.  The item can be returned within 7 days of receipt for a full refund of purchase price (Not the "Return Shipping").  Returns will be accepted under the following conditions:

1.  It must be the same item as shipped/received.  (We keep high resolution scans of all of our books on file.)

2.  Buyer pays for the return U.S. Media Mail and Delivery Confirmation shipping costs.  Item must be shipped in an extra firm envelope or a non-bendable box.

3.  Refund will not include shipping and handling on return item(s).

4.  Your Paypal account will be credited including shipping on the Original purchase.

5.  After 7 days of receipt, the sale is final and no returns will be accepted for any reason.

If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not bid on this auction.

Thanks for looking.
