Illustrations by Dennis Lasker. I would say like new but to be safe I will say very good. It still has the price of $10.00 on the Dust jacket which is definitely like new. "It began as a dream", writes James Lipscomb. " A lot of people dream it: sail the South Seas." This time the dream belonged to his son. Inspired by the accounts in the National Geographic of Robin Lee Graham's single-handed voyage around the world, eighteen-year-old John Lipscomb wanted to assemble a few other boys his age and sail from San Pedro, California, to Singapore. There were three film makers onboard who agreed not to interfere or assist the boys as they managed the boat. Would make a nice Christmas present!
