I bought these pants last year from Land's End for my daughter.  We didn't have much snow last year & she didn't go out when we did.  This year they reach her mid-calf.  Your gain!

These pants were the top-of-the-line ski pant in the catalog.

All zippers are sealed shut with rubberized material to keep all wetness out.

The waist has elastic, zipper & snap, & adjustable plastic cargo belt.

The knees are reinforced with a rubberized material to avoid holes.

The ankles have zippers that can be used to go over boots easily.

Inside at the bottom of the pant leg are nylon liners with elastic to ensure all snow & wet stay out.

These are VERY NICE ski/snow pants (actually, much nicer than mine).
