8 ½’ ORVIS SALMON BAMBOO FLY ROD, SALT WATER

Here is a nice Orvis 2-piece, 2-tip impregnated rod marked “Orvis Impregnated Salmon 8 ½’ 7 ¼ oz, GHG.”  I think this is a kit rod, since it has NO SERIAL NUMBER.  The second tip is a later Orvis tip.  The rod has the Orvis salt water reel seat and Mildrum standing guides.  Guides on the two tips do not index, but both tips fit fine.  Tube and bag are Orvis.  Rod has extension butt and cap for the butt ferrule.  Great rod for steelhead or bass.  CONDITION is fine with cane, wraps, metalwork, and cork all good.  Ferrules fit tightly.  Finish is great. CASTING  I have cast this rod with an 8-weight and it is a real cannon.  In fact, I probably shouldn’t be selling it without a firearms license.  TERMS  If something is wrong with an item beyond the defects noted, you may return it for purchase price within 5 days.  However, I cannot re-negotiate the price after the sale, or pay for repairs.
