This book is in good condition.  It has some shelfwear.  The pages are clean and unmarked.  It was printed in 1986 by Chess Digest.  87 pages.  The author is Andrew Soltis.

In the 1980s, we see a group of openings played successfully that had been almost completely ignored by previous generations. 

In this book, these semi-open systems are examined:

(2) Pirc-Modern Defense: The Subtle Fianchetto
(3) Sicilian Defense: The British Theory-Basher
