Lionel Postwar O Gauge #6357-25 SP-Type Caboose NO RES

This auction is for a Lionel Postwar O Gauge # 6357-25 Lionel SP-Type Caboose. This version of this caboose was available from 1953 - 1956 and is 6 1/2" long x 2 1/8" wide x 3 1/2" high. It has a black metal frame, maroon plastic body with four corner steps, clear window insert lighted interior, metal rails, one metal brakewheel, black die-cast smokejack, body attached to the frame with screws, and bar-end trucks with magnetic couplers. White heat-stamped lettering includes "6357 - LIONEL", data lines, and Lionel logo. This caboose is complete and all original except that it has been upgraded with a second magnetic tab coupler. The graphics are strong. There is no rust or cracks in the plastic. The catwalks and steps are intact. There are a couple of very minor scratches. The light works. This is an extremely clean caboose,  grades to excellent (C7), and will make an outstanding addition to your layout.
