Antique Solid Iron,Black Fireplace Mantle, No Reserve

This beautiful antique solid cast iron fireplace mantle came with a $ 2 million dollar home I purchased in Laguna Beach, though I paid extra for it. The seller, who built the house in 1975, told me the whole story of how he found it and moved it from somewhere in the South, and its entire history, but unfortunately I don't remember those details, just that he said it was very rare and valuable. I'm pretty sure he said it was from the 1800's. 

 We have enjoyed many fireside chats with our children in front of this unique and irreplaceable mantle. Now that we are selling the house, I won't be able to keep it, so it will be yours to enjoy as we have. The dimensions are approximately 62"x11.75" x 45.5" x 5" with the opening to the interior being 29.5"x32".  I don't how heavy it is, but you will need to pick it up here in Laguna Beach or arrange to ship it yourself. I reserve the right to sell it locally at any time prior to the end of this auction. I want this to stay at the house until I move, probably between the middle to the end of November.
