Kelly {Last Name withheld for privacy}:
Wife of
husband who died from the tragic September 11th attack. He was on an
airplane excitingly trying to get to his wife and small child as she
was about to give birth to their second baby.
His plane
was one of the terrorists target. He died that day; only a few days
before his precious child was born. His wife gave him a second little
girl; an innocent child who would never be raised by her natural father
because of evil.
Thank God
for Jesus and the fact that this family will have another chance one
day. The strength of the Holy Spirit is what Kelly draws from each and
every day.
We were able to help Kelly and her two little children, financially, and also with presents at Christmas.

Female
whose boyfriend beat their baby to death only 2 short weeks after he
was born. The mother and father, of this precious, defenseless, baby
boy, who couldn't even lift his own head, went home to their apartment
for the first night, since he was born, as they spent the first two
weeks at the maternal grandmother's house of the baby.
The mother
of the newborn needed to go shopping for their baby so she left her
boyfriend, the babies father, home alone, with their newborn, to
shockingly come back home to find that her world had been shattered in
the most horrifying way: the man she loved and was engaged to be
married to had murdered, yes, murdered, their baby, their first and
only baby, with his very own bare hands.
The reason
he gave for punching his 2 week old newborn son, violently, in the face
and shaking him so hard was because he lost his patience when the baby
wouldn't stop crying; and yes, the offender had been drinking.
It was the
family dog that led the neighbors to the, brutal, scene of the crime
who then witnessed the devasation that was left behind.
The father
didn't call an ambulance or the police. It was the dog who managed to
get outside and behave hysterically until someone would follow him back
to the apartment. May God comfort the aching hearts of this
heartbroken mother, seriously affected neighbors, and their heroic dog.
The last I heard, the deviant was in prison at Ryker's Island.
Because
of customers like you, we were able to help her, financially, by paying
some bills, to help keep a roof over her head, provided pastoral
counseling, and encouraged her to go back to school when she was ready.
Steve {Last Name withheld for privacy}:
His only
son, Zachary, a young teenager, was murdered by his, Steve's, very own
wife and biological mother of Zachary through setting their home on
fire while he {Steve}, his son {Zachary}, and his mother~in~law, all
slept as they did every other evening.
However,
this night turned out to be one that would put a permanent wound deep
within the soul of Steve and his mother~in~law for the rest of their,
painful, lives.
Zachary's
own mother, Steve's own wife, and the daughter of the mother who lived
in the same house, set their home on fire, when they all slept,
according to plan, while all she could think about was the tremendous
amount money she would be collecting from the insurance company as soon
as each of her family members were all dead.
However,
everyone just barely managed to get out, of the house, alive, except
one. The child; Zachary. He would always sleep in the basement. The
same place where he would retreat for comfort turned out to be the very
same place his life would tragically end.
When his
father, Steve, noticed the fire and tried to wake everyone up to get
them out of the house, the smoke and fire were too intense for him to
reach, his only son, his best friend, his Zachary.
This evil woman received a very short sentence and she is free today. How horrifying.
We helped him financially as well as assisted with securing a home for Steve and his mother~in~law to avoid homelessness.
There was no earthly justice for Zachary.
Steve and his mother~in~law still carry this tremendously heavy burden today.
However,
there will be eternal justice by God, in the end, as vengeance is the
Lord's and he promises to make everything right one day; I believe him
and thankfully, so does Steve and his mother~in~law.
Although, they have a very difficult road, with increased health issues, they never give up their faith.

A lady,
whom I met one day, was a victim of, what is a very dangerous
situation, domestic violence. She was helped financially and
encouraged to leave this man whom she lived with. I never saw her
again.
However, I
pray she found the wisdom and strength to leave someone who was abusing
