This auction is for an IBM Thinkpad R40 laptop

This laptop is sold AS IS with two minor issues

1) Bad battery

2) Missing key

1.8 ghz processor

512mb memory

40 GB hard drive

Type 2896-4wu

This unit is in very nice cosmetic condition with the exception of the missing key and some very slight normal wear including a long light scuff on the top lid

The LCD is nice and bright

A/C adapter included

Windows XP PRO has been installed (COA is included).  Important...No drivers have been installed.  We do not install drivers or offer any software support.

This unit is in good condition for minor repair or use as is.
