This is a good old-fashioned auction - no reserve. Starting bid is just $25.
Anytime I do this, I know I am taking a chance - lets have fun and see what happens.

I am selling my favorite garden goodies!!!  These are items I have been collecting for the last twenty years and items I have been decorating my shop and garden with.  It seems like it is time to unload some amazing pieces and actually price these treasured finds to sell.   

DESCRIPTION:
A thoughtful gift for any MOM is this wonderful two-piece set - Mama Quail with one little baby quail in tow.  This beautiful Mama Quail comes with pleasant parental disposition and the inquisitive cute-as-can-be Baby Quail.  Both have classic quail characteristics; top knot, layered feathers and long slender tail. This mama sculpture measures 8" tall by 10" long by more than 6" wide and weighs a solid 10 lbs and baby measures 3" tall by 4" long and weighs 1 to 2 lbs.  These are obviously not made of chinsy resin or chippy plaster but is solid cement stone and is a antique white color.  As you can see this sculpture has pocks and general erosion from the original sculpture, but unlike that antique which was clearly deteriorating, this casting is solid and secure and fully intact.

When displayed together they are especially symbolic and obviously Moms and Grandmas go googoo for this kind of gift.  If you NEED ADDITIONAL Baby quail, I have dozens which can be purchased separately through another listing or added for $9 which includes shipping.  Buy as many as you need to showcase your family for all to see.

SHIPPING:
This item will ship UPS from my husbands warehouse in San Diego and so the cost is calculated.  Insurance is included up to $100 but beyond that I highly recommend it.

I accept paypal or you can mail me a personal check and I will ship this item after your check clears.  If you need another form of payment just let me know before you bid.
