Item Description:

Inspired from George Lucas's series of modern classic Sci-Fi films, "Star Wars VI~Return of the Jedi", we present the infamous Bounty Hunter, Boba Fett Statue. This intricately detailed, film accurate Premium Format Figure of the iconic Bounty Hunter was created by the following artist's, The Gore Group, Oluf Hartvigson, Greg Mowry of Geppetto Productions & the Sideshow Collectibles Design & Development Team, in conjunction with Lucasfilm Ltd.
Shrouded in mystery, Boba Fett made his first film appearance on the bridge of Darth Vader's command ship in Episode V. The infamous Bounty Hunter became so popular that he had a return engagement along with his fellow Hunters, Mercenaries & Scoundrels to menace our heroes in the Saga's concluding chapter Episode VI. Sadly enough for his fans, he met his ultimate demise in the "Belly of the Beast", Sarlacc!
As his story later unfolds, we would learn that Boba was in fact a clone, an exact genetic duplicate of his father, named Jango Fett. Raised in isolation on the stormy water world of Kamino, young Boba learned valuable survival & military skills from his highly trained hunter father. When Jango was killed in the opening battle of the Clone Wars by Jedi Mace Windu, Boba embarked on a path that would lead him into the "Family Business".
Boba Fett's inception is as mysterious as his character. The unique Mandalorian armor of the Galaxy's most notorious gun for hire was designed and fabricated in England well in advance of the filming of Episode V. Meanwhile, Joe Johnson of ILM, designed & created Boba's Helmut in northern California.
The Bounty Hunter stands an impressive 19"inches tall atop an environmental display base reminiscent of Jabba's Palace floor. He weighs approximately 15 lbs. & is hand finished and painted to exacting standards which Sideshow is known for. Every detail of his Mandalorian uniform, armor, Jetpack and even his braided Wookie pelt trophies, have been expertly reproduced in true 1/4 scale. Boba's Helmet features ball-joint articulation, so you can rotate his calculating gaze in whichever direction you desire.
