Wonderful, ca1930, Wooden "Ramp Walker" in the form of a World War I Soldier. This fantastic American Soldier Ramp Walker Toy measures approx. 4 3/4" and is dressed in an olive drab colored long coat and service man’s cap. The head, arms, legs and feet are made of wood while the conical shaped body is fabric over what appears to be a thick paper board form.


    There is ink stamp text on the bottom of the Walker’s right foot that reads “Made in U.S.A.” and a Patent Number that is unreadable. We believe that this Ramp Walker was made by the Wilson Novelty Company and was called a “Wilson Walkie”.


    This wonderful, World War I Soldier Ramp Walker Toy is in excellent condition - complete and generally clean and crisp. He walks very well. There is just a hint of discoloration to the fabric of his right arm and a small spot on his coat just below his right hand. A wonderful and charming, ca1930 Wooden World war I Soldier Ramp Walker and a fantastic addition to any collection!!!

Overseasshippping is extra and cost will be quoted at bidders request. Massachusetts residents must add 5% sales tax. Insurance is required on all items selling for $400 or more and optional on items selling for under $400 (but highly recommended. If you do not want insurance please let us know.
