This came in with a bad motherboard. The customer decided to go new machine instead. I replaced the MB with a refurbished unit I purchased here and I'm glad I did. This thing runs well.

I'm not a buzz word kind of guy, but this thing is "Zippy". You will be able to do darn near everything you could want to do on a computer with this one! I did a fresh install of the OS and installed all the proper drivers. I also put in everything you need to get started: Java [you don't see it, but you need it] Adobe Flash player, Reader, Office07, Nero7, Power DVD and a few "Seek and Find" games for some fun.

 I'm including an image disk set of the hard drive, with directions on how to use it. You will be able to restore your system at any time, if you get some "Nasties" or whatever.

I partitioned the Hard Drive into two parts. You have 40 GB for apps and such and 120 for storage. [sizes are approx.]

This is in decent cosmetic shape with several scuffs and scratches on the lid. The edge of the lid has some scrapes and as stated the DVD burner is missing the faceplate. [See PICS] You just hit the button with your fingernail and the drive will open just fine. This in no way is a deal breaker.

The screen looks nice with good color and I see no defects to report. However, I always disclaim in case I missed something. The palm rest shows some wear too, but still looks pretty nice from the "Drivers Seat"

I tested the wireless and NIC, they work as they should. I did not test the modem, but it installed with no errors.

I ran the battery for 40 minutes or so while doing installs. It showed 32% charge left. I would call that a working battery. However, I offer NO WARRANTY on used batteries! It comes with a brand new charger.

So there you have, not the Fastest Horse in the Barn, but you should get to Town right with the pack. Maybe even beat a few of them! You'll be able to do your downloading and surfing, some Office work and play some games. It has enough speed and storage to be your main PC or an excellent back up if your main PC goes down.

Warranty? You bet! I offer my standard 14 day REPAIR warranty. That is, if my hardware fails within 14 days, you may send the laptop back for REPAIR. You will pay shipping to me and I will pay shipping back to you. Spillage and droppage are not covered. Data recovery is not offered. I mark all removables to prevent fraud. I reserve the right to exchange the unit for a comparable unit, at my discretion. Although I'm not a large company or seller, I want to give you some protection. This should give you ample time to make sure my units work as stated.

Note: The true owner of the OS, software is unknown, and it should be considered a test version only. You will not be able to register it as your own, and I assume no responsibility for it. It works perfectly, though.
