Hi, everybody. I am selling a less than one year old, well used, almost new Epson perfection V500 scanner. I bought this lens on Feb 9 2009 from Adorama (so it is still under warranty) and enjoyed it very much.

I include everything from the original purchase in this auction. You can see all items in pictures, including original box, scanner, film and slide adapters, software discs, instruction, and warranty documentations.

I use this scanner in a non-smoking environment. I scanned about 50 rolls of 35mm and 120 films. I am selling it because I just bought Epson V700.

As you can see from the picture, the scanner is in wonderful condition without any blemish. Glass is clean without any problem. Body is intact.

I have test-shot the scanner before I list it on ebay. It works perfectly. Please check attached photos for scanning samples

This is a "budget" film scanner (compare with V700 and Nikon 5000) from Epson, but you get more than you pay for. In my opinion, it works nicely for day-light type film and reflective photos. It shows limitation only when you scan high dynamic film since its DMAX is 3.4.

Please read reviews from AMAZON. Many users are very happy about V500.

This scanner is designed to be used in home and office.

A: Hi, thanks for your inquiry. I actually use it in a PC with XP pro. Epson website says it is also compatible with vista and Windows 7.
