Hard Times (being incorporated as a story in Household Words Vol IX) by Charles Dickens. First edition published 1854.

This book has been rebacked retaining orinial spine and boards with new end papers. Internally the hinge just after the contents page and between page 612 and 613 has been repaired ( see third photo). Otherwise this is an exceptionally clean and sound copy of a rare first edition.
