THREE LITTLE KITTENS'31; THREE LITTLE PIGS'33 F B PEAT

Here are darling renditions of "THE THREE LITTLE KITTENS, A Nursery Rhyme of Long-Ago", No.851, 1931, and "THE THREE LITTLE PIGS", No. 986,1933 illustrated by Fern Bisel Peat, published by The Saalfield Pub. Co., Akron, Ohio.  They are 12 pages filled with full page illustrations of calico quilted-like pictures done by Ms. Peat, each with her name printed in the corner.  The pages are somewhat yellowed from age.  They measure 10 1/2 X 13". There is one small tear at the bottom left margin of the front cover, and the spine shows wear, with some light smudges on the front covers.

With all that said, the covers are quite sturdy and the inside pages are quite clean. 'Margaret Dolores Teschhauser 1932' is neatly written on the front of  "THE THREE LITTLE KITTENS" and just 'Margaret' on the front of "THE THREE LITTLE PIGS", no doubt an early/original owner of these very sweet books.
