 Neutrogena On-The-Spot Acne Treatment Vanishing Cream Formula

Indications
For the treatment of acne. Some medicated spot treatments contain high levels of benzoyl peroxide that can irritate skin, causing redness and dryness which can make acne worse. On-the-Spot has been clinically proven to provide maximum strength effectiveness in fighting acne, while being gentle to the skin. Maximum strength effectiveness with less irritation, won't dry out skin. Contains just 2.5% benzoyl peroxide, yet has been clinically proven to provide the same maximum level of effectiveness as a 10% formula, and with 70% less irritation overall. The fast working formula contains a special blend of ingredients to enhance the benzoyl peroxide's penetration. It goes deep down in the pores to kill the acne bacteria that cause pimples and helps to stop new ones from forming. Works hard to keep skin healthy-looking. Relieves redness of acne pimples and overdrying of skin. Long-lasting protection. Works hour after hour to give long-lasting acne treatment. Absorbs quickly. Works invisibly.
Directions
Cleanse the skin thoroughly before apply medication. Apply directly on acne pimples. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. Avoid storage at extreme temperatures (below 40 degrees F and above 100 degrees F).

Warnings
For external use only. Do not use if you have very sensitive skin or are sensitive to benzoyl peroxide. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are using other topical acne medications at the same time or immediately following use of this product. This may increase dryness or irritation of the skin. If this occurs, only one medication should be used unless directed by a doctor. When using this product. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, flush thoroughly with water. Keep away from lips and mouth. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
