FIRST THINGS FIRST! These are NOT CRAPPY DRUMS! Ok, I need to get that off my chest. I know what you are thinking: "Are these any good?" "Why so cheap?" "Am I going to regret buying these?" "Are they going to fall apart on me?" The answer to ALL of these questions is NO. You won't. I take pride in the products I represent and if I feel that you are not getting the BEST POSSIBLE PRODUCT for the price, then I won't market it. I respect your dollars as much as you do and I take pride in the products I carry. DW painstakingly developed this product and put their name and reputation on this, and believe me, they delivered. They collaborated with Sabian Cymbals to bring a great set of musical cymbals to include with this package. You will get EVERYTHING YOU NEED HERE and you just pay ONE LOW PRICE. No extra this, no extra that. $599 and you are done. What you get: The all-new Mainstage is a pre-configured entry level kit that includes drums, pedals, hardware, cymbals and even a throne. The drums feature hardwood construction in a durable wrapped finish. Sabian cymbals and a full hardware pack complete the rig. Drum sizes are 8x10" & 9x12" toms, 14x16" floor tom, 16x22" bass drum and 5x14" matching snare. The hardware pack includes a CB700 cymbal boom stand, CS700 straight cymbal stand, SS700 snare stand, HH700 hi-hat stand and a drum throne. The 4-piece cymbal pack includes 13" top and bottom hi-hats, 20" ride and 16" crash. I like these drums. I mean, REALLY like these drums. I inspected them carefully, the things I look out for on these are the quality of the wrap, the hardware fittings, and shell construction. I was BEYOND impressed. If you are looking to get into a complete set but don't want to feel that you are throwing your money away on junk, then this could be the one for you. MY RECOMMENDATION: At $599, I would say that this is a nice entry level kit, but honestly, these deserve more credit. This is a designed for the aspiring drummer, and if it needs anything to improve the sound, a set of heads on the toms would be nice, but not necessary just yet.
