The lot was purchased by my parents back in 1974 for almost

Mom recently passed away, my sister and I are just now getting around
to selling the properties and this seemed the best way for this one. We
just want all this behind us if you can understand and are not looking
to get anything near what they payed for it, we know the economy and
all is bad.

than the land, what makes this lot great is the privileges it gives the
owner to the clubhouse and resort amenities. We have many fond
memories of going to Rayburn Country and using all the wonderful fun
things available there due to our parents owning this lot. It is truly
incredible the family fun that you get from just the privilege of

When

taxes are very cheap currently at $160 a year for a lot with no
structure erected and there is an annual HOA fee of $216 a year.

Just
want to be clear, the pictures posted are of the golf course, not the
lot. Pretty obvious, but making sure everyone knows. My apologies, I
have no pictures of the lot and do not want to drive down just to take
pics if I do not have to, would be a very long drive and time off work,
etc. Anyone interested feel free to go down and look at the lot if you
live close by. It is off a par 3 hole with water, I remember from
childhood it was very pretty. On the plot map you can get an idea of
the shape, it is just under .25 acres.
This is not a down payment, this auction is for
total ownership of the lot.
There are city utilities ready to be hooked into if
you build anything on the lot. There is no owner financing, the amt you bid and
pay if you win is for the whole lot, there are no more payments to be made. The
nearest Walmart and Hospital would be in Jasper, about 13 miles away. This is a
vacation resort with fishing, skiing, swimming, tennis, golf, recreation,
etc.
What does the HOA give you? Most things are free,
you are able to use all of the facilities owned by Rayburn Country Association
such as the Country Club, Rayburn Hall, Sports Core, Swimming Pool, Tennis
Courts. The Golf Course is not free but you get membership at the discounted
property owner's rate as well as a 10% Discount on Lodge Rooms.
