Sixty four (64) precut 8.5 squares!!
Have fun making this rag quilt in a matter of hours.  Randomly scatter your blocks as we have done in photo above or play around with the blocks to form a pattern or color scheme of your own.  Kit contains an assortment of Sunshine prints, wovens, solid sky, and easy illustrated instructions.  The machine die-cut fringing of these large squares are specially designed to achieve the level of fullness and
beauty only found in professional rag quilts.

Rag kits can be stitched 2 different ways.  You can sew all your squares together to make your quilt top first, then add batting and backing, and stitch together.  Or, you can sandwich 2 precut squares together (with or without batting between) thereby forming your front and back of quilt at the same time.   If all squares in this kit are used for your quilt top, kit will make a quilt top with approximate measurement of 51" x 63" (7 across and 9 down).
If you use the sky blue blocks (32 per kit) for your backing square as we have done in the photo above
then you will need 2 kits to finish quilt at this same measurement. 

                    

  If you sandwich our precut cotton batting squares between blocks for an even thicker warmer quilt as shown in photo above.    If you want to do this you will need 6 1/2" (6.5") squares for the blocks in this kit.   Rag quilts are the latest trend in quilting. They are a quick, fun and offer a refreshing break from traditional quilting!  Rag quilts are great for picnics, in the car, while snuggling up in front of TV, over the back of a chair or as a throw over the bottom of the bed.  Try one and see how much fun making your own quilt can be!
