Red Satin Swirl Antique Oil Lamp Base

Red Satin Swirl Antique Oil Lamp Base. See page 109 of Gibson's 19th Century Pattern Art Glass Chamber Lamps book. Complete lamp valued at $2000. The base was made by Consolidated Lamp & Glass Company in Fostoria Ohio. Circa 1890. The base is 10 inches tall and 10 inches in diameter. The brass has all been buffed and polished with the cast-iron foot having been re-plated. Everything is completely original except that it has a replaced connecting bolt. The base takes a standard slip-in center-draft font. It has no crack, chips, breaks or repairs and is in excellent condition
