Piero Fornasetti necktie manufactured by Intermoda in Como, Italy. 100% Silk. 58 inches long and 3-1/2 inches at widest point. Excellent condition. Never been worn. Fornasetti was a painter, sculptor, interior decorator, engraver of art books, maker of more than 11,000 items, of sceneries and costumes, organizer of international exhibitions and events. As far as the variety of decorations is concerned, Fornasetti made one of our century's largest production of objects and furniture. The lesson deriving from his oeuvre is severity with a strong imagination and an elegant and mystical sense of humor.
