The HP Photosmart A626 Compact Photo Printer is perfect for people who enjoy printing photos and wish to add captions, messages, and more--without a PC! You can use the built-in 4.8-inch color touchscreen to add creative touches such as writing captions and creating different album layouts, frames, graphics, and other effects. Using the screen, you can also do slide shows and print individual shots by simply touching them. The printer has built-in memory card slots that support Secure Digital/MultiMediaCard, CompactFlash, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Duo, and xD-Picture Card, allowing you to print directly from them. You can also print from a PictBridge-enabled camera or a PC. With the addition of a Bluetooth adapter, you can print wirelessly from Bluetooth devices.

The A626 prints at up to 4800 by 1200 optimized dpi (on advanced photo paper) for great photos that last a long time. With the optional rechargeable battery, you can bring the small printer with you to family gatherings and parties for printing photos immediately and passing them around. With built-in HP software, you can remove red eye, slim subjects, and enhance images right on the screen without a computer. The printer has a 20-sheet input tray and supports Windows XP Home and Professional, Windows Vista, and Mac OS X 10.3.9 and 10.4.0.
