Hotel MOUNT EVEREST * Darjeeling * INDIA Luggage Label

This is one of ~ 10 Original luggage labels from a single estate listed tonight. They are from China, India, Japan, Southeast Asia, (Singapore, Burma, Ceylon), and a few from the Mediterranean, (Cairo & Italy). Many are in excellent condition, some have some minor problems, and a few have small tears/corner wear. I'll explain all defects or show closeup scans. I ship with a backing board in a poly sleeve , with stiff cardboard so as to ensure protection. Therefore items ship as packages with higher rates. I will gladly combine shipping.

This is for a wonderful Hotel Mount Everest, Darjeeling, India label. It measures 5 1/2" top to bottom, 8 3/4" side to side, ( 14cm x 22.2cm). It is by W. Newman & Co., LD Printers, Calcutta. This one has some problems. The top and bottom both had long tears. I taped both with professional archival tape. Also, there is an area of surface paper loss at bottom point and triangular piece missing at extreme right. See my closeup scans as they clearly show the damage. Sold as is! .......... Still a great label I've never seen!
