You are bidding on a very nice antique oak John Holland Pen display cabinet. It is in excellent condition. There are no cracks or chips in the glass or any repairs to the oak cabinet It appears to be all original. I'm not sure; however, if the bottom board which makes the cabinet stand vertically is original. The board looks to be the same vintage as the rest of the display cabinet. It may very well be correct; I just don't want to mis-represent the item as I am not a pen collecting expert. It displays 12 pens very prominantly. Appears to be original felting inside that holds the pens in place without scratching them. Cabinet stands 9 1/2" high by 14" long. The base is 6" wide by 18" long and the thickness of the cabinet is 2". The gold lettering appears to be 90% in tact. There are a couple of very small areas where it looks like someone has tried to fill in the worn gold lettering. You may be able to see that in the photos. I have bought, sold, and traded country store items, but have never run across a piece like this. Please email me with any additional questions or requests for photos.
