I originally purchased a CARES Kids Fly Safe Safety Harness Belt to use on a trip with my 1 1/2 year old daughter.  It worked great!  My child was much more comfortable being in her own seat safely strapped in rather than on my lap. ..especially with her older sister sitting next to her.  And I felt quite reassured that she was safely buckled in. 

Using the safety strap is really easy.  It is so light weight, compact and fits into a small carrying pouch.  No more lugging bulky carseats on the plane, especially when you are trying to watch over your own child.  The strap easily fits over the airplane seat and is a 5 point safety harness which children of this age are used to using in their carseats.  It is the first alternative airplane child safety system to be certified by the FAA for all phases of flight - taxiing, take off, turbulence and landing.  It is approved for use for children who are at least 1 year old and weigh 22 pounds.

NOTE: I only have one safety belt available for rent.  Before you use the Buy It Now, please contact me to see if it is available for the dates you are planning for your trip.  Choose Ask seller a question at the top of this page to find out if your dates are available.  Upon my reply that your travel dates are available, you must choose Buy It Now within 24 hours of my reply.  If you don't reply within 24 hrs, I will offer those dates to the next buyer.

If you confirm with me that your travel dates are available, then choose the Buy It Now option and indicate in the Paypal notes what your travel dates are that you are reserving.  Your travel dates will not be reserved and held for you until you choose the Buy It Now option.

A few other notes:

1. My CARES safety belt is in new condition.  If you rent it and it is returned to me damaged, I will send it back to you to keep and charge you the $80.90 full purchase price.

2. Please return the CARES safety belt by the due date agreed upon so that the next family will be able to use it for their trip.  If not, I will charge you a $10/day late fee beyond the due date.  Due date is the actual postmarked date.

3. I accept PayPal only.

4. All shipping to you and back to me will be using US Priority Mail which has a typical 2-3 day mail time.  I will be charging a flat fee of $6.50 for Shipping.  Faster delivery is available.

5. I am renting out the CARES safety belt on a first-come, first-serve basis.  If you contact me regarding certain dates and the belt is available, you must use the Buy It Now to reserve those dates.

6. If your trip spans for more than one month, additional charges will apply.
